Cabernet Sauvignon

Planted

7.5 Acres

When we introduced Cabernet Sauvignon to our vineyard in 2016, we planted without trellises, following the style of old Napa Valley. We chose rootstocks—St. George and 110R—with deep root systems that, once established, reduce or eliminate the need for irrigation. Our 8' by 8' vine spacing offers each vine ample space to draw nutrients and minerals from our volcanic soil. We selected budwood passed down from renowned Napa Valley vineyards such as Inglenook, Eisele, See, and Madrona.

Palisades Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon

Our commitment to heritage farming, with its emphasis on sustainability, water conservation and soil health, aligns with our singular goal in the cellar: crafting a Cabernet Sauvignon that mirrors the splendor of our canyon and the legacy of Napa Valley.
